Even though it’s already November in Sapporo, the city is yet to see its first snowfall which is rather late statistically speaking.
However, the temperature is steadily declining and is below 10 degrees every day. If you are coming to Sapporo in the near future, we advise you to wrap up warm!
In today’s post, we would like to introduce a Chinese soba noodle restaurant that is close to our hotel.
The name of the restaurant is ‘Susuri’.
There are only about 10 seats in this tiny stylish ramen shop but they serve delicious ramen! They use a chicken based broth from Hokkaido raised chickens and home-made Hokkaido full wheat noodles. Added to this, is soy sauce and Italian sea salt. The chicken and pork are served slightly undercooked reflecting the quality and freshness of the meat. The soup is hot and rich is flavor but not as rich as Hakata ramen for example.
I have eaten at Susuri many times but can never get enough of the delicious soup. It will taste even better in the cold winter months that are approaching.
If you’re looking for great tasting reasonably priced ramen you should definitely check out this shop when you stay with us, it’s only a 3 minute walk away!
